Volunteers are the heartbeat of our rescue. Whether you help with transport, events, home visits, or social media. Every role makes an impact.
Volunteers are the heartbeat of Bully World and Friends Foundation. Every foster home, every transport, every shared post, and every hour spent helping a dog in need makes a direct impact.
Whether you have a lot of time or a little, a specific skill or simply a desire to help, there’s a place for you here.
Your support allows us to rescue more dogs, provide care, run events, and build a stronger community for bully breeds in need.
Help move dogs from shelters, vet appointments, or foster homes. Even a single transport can save a life.
Assist at adoption events, fundraisers, and community outreach days. A friendly smile goes a long way.
Share dogs online, help manage posts, or support awareness efforts. Every share helps dogs get seen.
You don’t need professional experience to volunteer with us: just heart, patience, and dependability.
Here’s what helps us most:
A love for bully breeds and rescue work
Reliability and good communication
Willingness to follow safety guidelines
Ability to work as part of a team
Openness to learning training and handling basics
Kindness, compassion, and a positive attitude
As a volunteer, you’ll have the support and guidance of our team. We make sure you have what you need to feel confident and safe while helping.
You’ll receive:
Ongoing communication and support
Guidance on safe handling and training
Supplies when needed (leashes, transport crates, etc.)
A community of like-minded dog lovers
The fulfillment of directly impacting a dog’s future
To ensure safety for our volunteers and dogs, we ask that volunteers:
Are at least 18 years old
Can commit to communication and follow-up
Have reliable transportation (for transport roles)
Are comfortable around medium to large dogs
Are able to maintain confidentiality when needed
“Volunteering with Bully World and Friends has been one of the most rewarding parts of my life. Watching these dogs transform with a little love and structure is incredible, and the team is always there to support you. It feels amazing to be part of something that truly saves lives.”
